Transporting children by private car & minibus.
It is important to draw a boundary between organised,
formal activity of a group where the Church is taking
responsibility for the transport of the group, as oposed
to the arrangements made between parents/carers to
share in transport of children as part of everyday life.
It may be that this informal arrangement can be used
to advantage when organising events and activities,
without the church taking on that responsibility eg by
asking that children be transported to avenue for the
activity.
When the Church takes responsibility, children and
young people should not be transported without the
prior consent of the parents...
