The Big Spend

The Government have provided a fund for young people (aged 13-19 years) to spend on positive activities.
The great news is that young people in Hertfordshire have a say in choosing how the money is spent!
In fact, young people are the only ones who are allowed to choose and make the bids so it's all down to you to decide what you would like and need!
In Herts we have a combined budget of just over £1million to spend per year.
So how would you spend it?
1. To buy your group some new equipment, such as sports, DJ/MC'ing and media equipment?
2. To improve the facilities for your group, perhaps creating a computer suite, chill-out room or a new sports facility?
3. To pay for specialist tutors or instructors to come to your group, such as football coaches, dance or film media tutors?
4. To form a new group, such as a new sports or film-making club?
5. To develop a project which supports other young people in your community?
These are just some of the projects that young people in Herts have already received funding for, so what are you waiting for?
