The 2:67 Project
Details
the2:67project is a small charity that is run by Mike Palin, an experienced and energetic youth worker who has been a good friend of the DYS over a number of years. 2:67 has been set up to offer advice, support, encouragement, networking, resources and training in all areas of youth and children’s work across the St Albans area in any and every church/organisation.
They organise 'More?' cafes for young people in St Albans, training for youth work leaders and offer general advice - your church/organisation may be thinking about employing a youth or children’s worker and would value some advice in this area. You may just want to chat about an area of the work you are involved in, e.g. youth services, leader recruitment, child protection policies, weekends away, resources. Mike Palin would be more than happy to just spend time with you, chatting about any issues you may have.
Here at the DYS we work with Mike and his team of volunteers on a number of things around training and support for youth workers as well as the occasional event for young people.
