You may be familiar with the Child Protection training that the Diocesan Child Protection Officer, Chris Lees, has been running.
The Hertfordshire Safeguarding Children Board provides free inter-agency training courses, including an e-learning course on basic awareness of child protection.
A variety of courses are available to the targeted groups listed in the programme. These target groups include:- those in regular contact with children and young people and with adults who are parents or carers, those who have particular responsibility for safeguarding children, such as designated or named health and education professionals, police, social workers, and other professionals working with complex cases and all workers who have completed Basic Child Protection Training at Stage 1.
