Enable Holiday volunteering
Details
There are opportunities to volunteer as carers on the Enable Holiday programme - a week long holiday for young people aged 12-18 years with special needs and/or disabilities, cruising along the Grand Union Canal.
Volunteers would be expected to participate as part of a team of carers in a week long canal boat holiday supporting a small group of teenagers with a range of disabilities and disadvantages.
We are looking for people with a positive, can do attitude and take into account the strengths and abilities of each volunteer as we allocate them to a team. It is all about teamwork and providing a quality experience for the holiday makers.
The holidays take place during the May & October half-term breaks, and over the summer during late July/August.
