Youth Service Strategy
Details
We are in the process of putting the strategy into action, which seems to take longer than I had hoped, but we are making progress.
I am currently working on a document/some materials to help parishes grapple with why we do youth work?, a question that kept coming up during our Let's talk Mission:Let's talk Youth tour round the Diocese.
Here so far you have:
- The summary of Youth Strategy
- Going for Growth, National Strategy for the Church of England Board of Education
- Aiming High for Young People, the government's (previous one) vision for young people on which the last few years across youth work has been based.
As the material I am working on takes more shape I will put it here on the website, and I am happy for comment.
I am also looking for parishes who wish to be the basis of some case studies that I want to develop, which give everyone a taste of what youth ministry might look, feel, taste and small like in a range of situations.
