1st - 9th August staying in Loreto, Italy
Last August, 25 young people from Italy, Romania and St Albans aged between 15 - 25 years old participated in the first ecumenical youth pilgrimage to Italy. This event was so successful that the planning group has decided to participate again this year.
Young people from the Roman Catholic, Orthodox and Anglican churches came together for a week of discussion, prayer and fun. This year young people from Sweden and Denmark have also asked to participate.
This years pilgrimage will be from Sunday 1st - 9th August, once again staying at the John Paul II Centre in Loreto. This centre became a reality through the desire of Pope John Paul II to unite young Christians of all denominations. It is the hope of Bishop Christopher Foster who will be one of our fellow pilgrims, that this week should be a chance to engage, understand and reflect on what it is to be a member of the world wide church of God.
The cost of this experience will be £382.
