Hello Everyone!
The theme for this week's Challenge readings is ‘Living the Reality of Jesus'. Yesterday's questions encouraged us to think about 'Radical Living' and today's looked at 'Living your heart'. This reminded me of a discussion we had at the November meeting of Church of England Youth Council, where we thought about radical faith and how we could each live radically.
So, I thought it would be good this week to think about how we can each live out our Christian faith, the challenges of this or what gets in the way or stops us from living out our faith and also, what helps to make living out our Christian faith easier.
I was thinking about how fear of going against the grain or what other people might think sometimes stops me from living out my faith and how meeting with other Christians and other Christian youth and sharing, often similar, experiences and praying together, helps to sustain me in my faith. Do you have opportunities to meet with other Christian youth? Do you find fear is what makes it hardest?
Living out our Christian faith is often difficult and challenging, but it is always encouraging to hear the ideas and thoughts of other people in a similar situation.
Hope you have a great week,
Rebekah
