Hello Everyone!
On Satuday 9th April the Church of England Youth Council will be holding a day meeting for all its members and it would be really great to have two representatives from the Diocese attending.
The meeting will be taking place from 10am-3.45pm at Holy Trinity Church, Coventry. We will be discussing ‘Faith in Modern Britain?', particularly the recent government changes to provision for young people, looking at EMA, housing, tuition fees, national citizens' service, health and unemployment. In the afternoon we will be discussing ‘Faith in the Church' and exploring ways of getting more younger people into Church.
It should be a good day and a great opportunity to discuss these important issues together and to hear and share examples what works well in youth participation.
Please do get in touch with me via the blog or email Julie in the Youth Office if you are interested to know more or would like to represent St. Albans at the April Meeting.
Rebekah
