Hey all! I’ve just arrived back from Costa Rica and felt the distinct urge to blog! If there was a single word to sum up the parts of the stunning country of Costa Rica it would have to be numinous.
First a couple of apologies! Number 1: sorry i havent posted for so long!!! I've had a chaotic summer what with GCSES, a new job and family holidays! Secondly: Apologies for the shortened post! I have been having technical difficulties and posted this about a month ago then it failed to process so i have tried to recall and rewrite what i had in a shorter version!
The word numinous was a new one for me, I learnt it whilst on holiday and believe it means "a sense of something bigger, God-like perhaps" and this was the sensation i felt in Costa Rica standing amongst a facinating culture in a spectacular environment - the rainforest!
Over this holiday it struck me that perhaps we take things for granted! God made this world so immense and so beautiful yet so often we forget to thank him for that and respect the sheer awe of this world and of our lives.
So I wanted to challenge you to re-examine your life and truly thank God for every little thing that happens to you and for this amazing life we have!
